Display Message When Making Excess Payments in Accounts

Stay is enhanced to display a message to alert users when an excess payment is made using the Split Payment option in the Make Payment screen in the following accounts:

• House accounts (House account ➜ Folios ➜ Make a Payment option ➜ Split Payment)

• Reservations (Reservation ➜ Folio ➜ Make a Payment option ➜ Split Payment)

• Groups (Group ➜ Folio & Routing Rules ➜ Make Payment ➜ Split Payment)

When users use the Split Payment option and make payments for an amount that exceeds the balance due, the Payment field is highlighted in the Split Payment pop-up screen, and an icon is displayed. When users hover over the icon, the following message is displayed: Amount exceeds balance due. This helps to alert users that the payment would result in a negative balance in the selected folios.
